“Woven Spells and Wicked Whispers” Triptych
Created with acrylic paint, natural pigments as well as sand and reclaimed fishing rope
3× 50×70cm / €1595
The artwork’s distinct texture was created using black sand and reclaimed fishing rope, which I collected during a winter walk on Brittas Bay.
A quiet breath, a woven spark,
A thread of magic in the dark.
We spin the starlight, weave the rhyme,
And catch the syllables of time.
Let the spoken shadows fall,
Melt the silence from the wall.
What is whispered in the deep,
Shall banish sorrow, banish sleep.
Every stanza cast to air,
Becomes a spell to bind and bear.
Listen close and hear the call,
Weaving magic through it all.
