My Artworks

I like to describe my art as “controlled chaos”; like waves crashing into land, a steady, calming rhythm that follows no rules but always tells a story.

And telling stories is what I love. The same way that a book is telling a story to the reader, I want each of my paintings to tell a unique story to the viewer. I love creating big pieces of art with so many details that there is always something new to discover, whether you look at it from afar or from up close.

My Journey

I have always been drawn to colours and design, having worked in the Fashion industry for many years. But during this time, something has always felt off. Just after my 30th birthday, I moved to Ireland, and I felt an immediate connection to my new home, surrounded by the wild Irish Sea and breathtaking nature.

Here, I finally made the “jump” to become a full-time artist. When I am not painting, I write cosy fantasy novels and enjoy long walks with my two dogs, exploring the woods, mountains, and beaches.

My Inspiration

The surroundings I experience every day are my greatest inspiration. Watching a sunrise over the sea, going in for a cold swim, or just smelling the salty air - everything makes me feel so connected to the nature around me.

Capturing this special feeling is what I aim for in my paintings, often using natural pigments and materials such as sand, dried seaweeds and reclaimed fishing rope from the many beaches in Wicklow.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Every artwork I create carries a piece of my heart, captured by the wild energy of the Irish Coast.
