“Spring Breaks on the Shallows”

Created with acrylic paint, natural pigments as well as sand and reclaimed netting

The artwork’s distinct texture was created using black sand from Britta’s Bay and reclaimed netting, which I collected during a wild swim on a remote beach in County Mayo.
